Summary:
Two roommates, a nurse and a prostitute, switch jobs. So far so good. Unfortunately, the movie doesn't quite live up to it's premise, instead there are decent porn scenes. If you remember the time, with VHS and the truly pretty actresses, you'll like watching this again.

Image quality is quite acceptable. This appears to come of a remastered DVD, not a VHS tape. Of course, it was originally shot on 3/4" Beta, in a cheap studio, somewhere in the San Fernando Valley.

The three reviews on IMDB are varied, conflicting and possibly not very helpful. Read them here.

So, it may not be one of the great classics, but it's okayish and almost a quarter century old. As far as smut goes, I'd call it a classic ;-)

The Out of Towner (1987)






At one point during this video, Samantha Strong has her cool luscious legs draped over Frank James' lap. If ever a scene begged, cried and, demanded sex, it was this one. I'm yelling at the top of my lungs like I'm at some sporting event: "Go, go! Do it, do it! Put her away, Frank!" Only Frank doesn't do it. He leaves runners stranded in scoring position.
That's my overall opinion about the storyline for The Out Of Towner. It kind of dies on third. Samantha plays a visiting kissin' cousin to James. She doesn't do a lot of kissin', but she does a lot of bendin' over. James dresses her up like a boy so his girlfriend Sade won't get jealous. Then it seems like the whole neighborhood drops in to play wham Sam thank you mam. Strong puts in her complimentary sex performance then slinks off before the video is over, apparently to keep her next shooting date. The supporting cast, especially Keisha and Angel Kelly throw in a few nice turns. There's tons of good, erotic fun stuff, but the storyline itself is putrid and paltry.

Decameron X is inspired by its namesake from the 14th century, Il Decameron, a medieval allegory by Giovanni Boccaccio, told as a frame story encompassing 100 bawdy, erotic and tragic tales.

Final 30 minutes of the film is devoted to an orgy which is perhaps the best directed screen orgy I've ever seen. Careless (1993)





The late Sam Weston?s directorial swan song. In spite of what you may read elsewhere, all subsequent ?Anthony Spinelli? movies were helmed by his son Mitch as Sam suffered a severe stroke shortly after completing this excellent adult drama.
Always a great storyteller as well as a sterling actor?s director, Weston elicited career performances out of Ona Zee (already well established as a porno queen with considerable thespian prowess) and Tina Tyler (for whom this was a launching pad to a top flight career in the adult industry) as the anti-heroines of this surprisingly downbeat film. Zee is the older but not wiser temptress whose ever increasing number of lovers masks a deep-seated fear of advancing age and loneliness, while Tyler plays her painfully shy roommate who looks up to her until Ona carelessly destroys her friend?s budding relationship with a very youthful, amiably goofy Jon Dough by adding the guy to her rotating roster of bedroom buddies.
Beautifully produced (Sam wouldn?t have wanted it any other way?), this is a great, character-driven adult movie that treats you like a member of that age group. Dialogue rings true as do the sexual situations, the pivotal confrontation between the two actresses a particular standout. Sadly, Weston?s no longer with us.
